Privacy Policy
Vantage has no account, no server and no analytics. Nothing you do in the app leaves your phone. The rest of this page explains exactly what that means.
Last updated September 7, 2026.
The short version
Vantage asks you one question a day. It keeps no answers, because there is nowhere in the app to write one. It records which card you drew on which day so it can count your streak, and that record stays on your device.
What the app stores on your device
A single small file, written only by the app, holding one line for each of these events:
- The card you drew: the date on your device, which deck it came from, which card it was, whether you opened its deeper question, and whether you chose the deck yourself or tapped Pick for me.
- A saver, when one is automatically used to cover a day you missed.
- Your commitment: the rhythm you set for your streak, the days or count it applies to, and a reminder time if you set one.
That file never contains anything you typed, because the app never asks you to type anything. It has no free text field, no journal and no notes. All 181 questions ship inside the app, so drawing a card makes no network request.
What the app does not do
- No account, no sign in, no email address, no password.
- No server. Vantage has no backend to send anything to.
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party software development kits collecting data.
- No artificial intelligence. Every question was written by a person before the app shipped.
- No sale or sharing of personal information, because none is collected.
Reminders
If you turn on a reminder, the app asks your operating system to show a notification at the time you chose. That schedule lives on your device and is handled by iOS or Android. Vantage sends no push notifications, because there is no server to send them from.
Sharing a card
When you share a card, the app draws an image on your device and hands it to your system share sheet. You choose where it goes. Once it leaves the share sheet, the app you send it to governs what happens next, and that app has its own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
Deleting Vantage removes the file and everything in it. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing to request, export or erase from us. For the same reason, a deleted history cannot be restored.
The app stores
Apple and Google run the stores that distribute the app. They collect their own data about downloads and, if you have opted in with them, crash reports and aggregate usage figures. That collection is theirs and is covered by their policies, not this one. Vantage receives no personal information from either of them.
Children
Vantage is written for adults and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA and the Australian Privacy Act give you rights to access, correct, port and delete personal information a company holds about you. Vantage holds none. Everything the app records is already on your device, under your control, and goes away when you delete the app.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts doing something this page does not describe, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
